Families of Mat-Su Central,

The end is near! Friendly reminder that grades for K–11 students are due tomorrow, May 13. If you have any trouble entering grades, please contact the MSBSD Help Desk, then connect with your advisor to help troubleshoot.

As always, check out our full calendar and website for the most up-to-date information, including graduation on May 22.

Looking Ahead to 2026–27

  • Registration for MCS
    • Returning families are encouraged to book their own ILP appointments with their advisors, but all families (new and returning) must complete ParentVUE registration on or after July 1. Please note that if registration is delayed, we cannot guarantee placement with your current advisor.
  • Hybrid Learning at MCS
    • Many of you are thinking ahead to next year and on-site classes through our Hybrid Learning Academy. Look here for common questions, including a brief introduction of our hybrid school teachers and staff. Our course offerings and sign up instructions should be coming soon, so stay tuned!

Withdrawal and/or Returning Materials

If you have curriculum or supplies that your student is no longer using, we are always glad to pass along gently used materials to other families. If you plan to withdraw from MCS at the end of the school year, please complete the following:

  1. Submit ALL reimbursement requests through ParentVue prior to withdrawing
  2. Complete a Withdrawal Request Form
  3. Return all non-consumable materials (curriculum, devices, instruments, equipment) to the front office, labeled with student name
    • If interested in purchasing eligible items, please connect with our Curriculum Specialist

Feedback:

As we move toward the end of the school year and begin looking ahead to next year, we know this can be both an exciting and busy season for families. Our focus remains on supporting students well and continuing to strengthen the sense of connection within our community. Many of the best ideas at Mat-Su Central have come directly from our families and home educators. If you have thoughts, feedback, or ideas for improvement, please share them with us here
