Hello MCS Families,
Hybrid class schedules are now available in ParentVUE! Thank you for your patience as we worked through the final roster adjustments. As we get ready for Hybrid classes to begin, here are a few important updates and answers to some common questions:
A quick reminder: The Hybrid course request process is separate from enrollment at Mat-Su Central. Families should continue to complete the regular enrollment and registration steps for Mat-Su Central as usual. Requesting Hybrid courses does not replace the school's enrollment process.
1. How do I see my student’s Hybrid classes?Hybrid classes should now be populated in ParentVUE. To view your student’s schedule: First, select "Class Schedule." Then, select the appropriate semester. For more information about the class your student is enrolled in, including course descriptions and scheduling details, please visit our Hybrid Offerings page. For questions related to a specific course, feel free to reach out directly to the relevant teacher.
2. What if we no longer want a class?If your student is enrolled in a Hybrid class that you no longer wish to participate in, please complete our Hybrid Class Drop Form. Submitting the form helps us keep our rosters accurate and may open a spot for another student.
3. Hybrid Open House is tomorrow!Join us Wednesday, August 12, from 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. for our Hybrid Open House. This is a great opportunity to meet our Hybrid teachers, ask questions, learn more about classes, and check out the different opportunities available this year. We’d love to see you!
4. Can we still request Hybrid classes?Yes! If you have not yet requested classes—or would like to explore additional options—there is still time to participate. An updated list of available Hybrid offerings will be available tomorrow (August 12) at this link.
