Gymnastics is a sport that includes physical exercises requiring balance, strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, artistry and endurance. Our gymnasts start as early as 18 months to 18 years old. Recreational classes learn all the basic skills within the sport and dedicated athletes move on to competitive levels competing both in state and out of state competitions. Our dedicated coaches strive to teach our athletes of all ages and skill levels to see their abilities and strengths.

We use aviation to excite students about math, science, geography, history and much more! Our courses are all online and at the student's own time and pace. Students will go through 10 aviation modules over the course of the year. By the end of the course they will understand the aerodynamics of flight, aviation weather, navigation, airplane instruments, as well as be proficient at flight in using the provided simulator. In addition to the multiple aviation disciplines they will enjoy over 30 aviation career pathways interviews filmed in a variety of locations from gold mines to NASA. They will execute their visions, and be able to explain how they did it. Students must define these terms and demonstrate their understanding with their own photography: aperture, focal length, shutter speed, white balance, composition and light. Exposure, different lenses , shutter speeds, white balance, light, and composition all play an important role in how the image turns out in the end. throughout the class, we will manipulate these different elements together, and give demonstrations.

This will be a course for outdoors and fishing. We will go over outdoor safety, ice safety and fishing. How to pick and target species and what they like. The kids will learn about how the tackle/hook works for the fish they are targeting. The students will learn about the tools involved in fishing. While we are fishing, we will have discussions on conservation and how to handle fish properly.

The Matanuska Valley Sportsmen is formed for the following objectives and purposes: 1. To educate and promote gun safety to all interested parties. 2. To unite in one group sportsmen interested in the wise use of natural resources and the improvement of facilities and personal enjoyment of each. 3. To encourage members to promote social activities related to sportsmen's activities. Our volunteers who run the physical shooting range vigorously follow these precepts. Several of our instructors are current or retired school teachers, most are veterans and some are retired law enforcement. MVS offers all of the National Rifle Association courses except shotgun shell reloading. 1. Basic Pistol 2. Basic Rifle 3. Basic Shotgun 4. Basic Modern Sporting Rifle 5. Range Safety Officer 6. I will be meeting with students enrolled in homeschool programs through Mat Su Central at least once per week. These sessions will cover the material students are working on in their homeschool math program.

I teach group classes for science, STEAM, social studies, and language arts. I also provide tutoring in any subject based on parent requests.
