Class Description
This course is designed for school–aged students (10th - 12th grade - 16 + years old) who are interested in learning the fundamentals of weight training in a real-world gym environment. Held in a fully equipped local weight room, this program provides students with the framework and resources needed to safely build strength while working independently in a community fitness setting.
This is a self-paced, independent course, meaning students complete workouts and skill development without an instructor present during training sessions. Because of this, motivation, maturity, and personal accountability are essential. Students are expected to follow provided guidelines, stay focused, and make responsible decisions regarding their safety and effort.
