Class Description

WELCOME CREATIVES!

The goal of this class is to provide you with intermediate to advanced drawing challenges through experimental and classical approaches. Students are expected to work on assignments at home outside of class time or use the optional Independent Studio time on Thursdays from 1-3. 

Activities MAY include:

Daily Sketches

Coffee spill design

Pencil vs. camera

Charcoal on Cardboard

Right/Left brain studies

Self-Portraits

Negative space

Drawing from life

Experimental Media

Collage

Digital Design

A.I. rendering as reference

Grading

Daily Sketches - Each class begins with a 10 Minute warm-up Sketch (full points for sketch participation)

Guided Practice - Participation in class assignments and skill building studies are essential to growth.

Projects - include self graded rubric and reflection, instructor feedback, and peer discussion in class.

*Independent/Open Studio: Students may us this time to work on class

assignments or approved independent projects.
