Class Description
WELCOME CREATIVES!
This class challenges students to develop three dimensional problem solving skills with excellence and expression. Students will work individually and collaboratively to develop three dimensional forms through practice, experimentation, and revision. Some materials may include: plaster, paper mache, styrofoam, wood, tape, spaghetti, Rubik’s cubes, toothpicks, marshmallows, paper, cardboard, found objects and more. Prerequisite: 3D 2
Grading
Daily Sketches - Each class begins with a 10 Minute warm-up Sketch (full credit for sketch participation)
Guided Practice - Participation in class assignments and skill building studies are essential to growth
Projects - Self graded rubric and reflection, instructor feedback, and peer discussion in class.
*Independent/Open Studio: Students may use this time to work on class assignments or approved independent projects on Thursdays from 2-3:30.
