You are invited to join us for fun, hands on, high flying, field trip to the Anchorage Aviation Museum and AK State Trooper Hanger! 

First, we will have a fun tour and scavenger hunt at the Anchorage Aviation Museum. The museum presents one of the finest displays of Alaskan aviation history with interactive displays, memorabilia, photographs, films and artifacts from personal collections of Alaska’s pioneer aviators. Next, we'll visit the Alaska State Trooper hanger and tour the aircraft used by our troopers.

 Recommended for Grade Levels 4-6, but older grades are welcome too.

Itinerary on February 10th:

9:50 AM- Check in at Mat-Su Central School

10:00 AM - Board the school bus

11:00 AM - 12:30 PM- Anchorage Aviation Museum

12:30 - 1:00 - AK State Trooper Hanger

2:00 PM - Back at MCS

Families are welcome to ride the school bus or meet us at the Aviation Museum in Anchorage. Students can attend with a parent or without. MCS staff chaperones will monitor the group. Parent chaperone price is $18.00; this can be covered through the student allotment as well.
