Event Description

AK Junior Theater presents, Frindle. Nicholas Allen has plenty of ideas. When he ends up in Mrs. Granger's language arts class, he has his best idea ever. He decides to create his own word...FRINDLE! Before long, Nick's word creates a buzz in his school, his town and then to his surprise, it spreads all around the country and a power struggle erupts with the strict Mrs. Granger. Will the word "Frindle" win?  Based on the multiple award wining best selling novel by Andrew Clements, this quirky, imaginative tale about creative thought and the power of words will have young audiences inventing their own words. 

Itinerary, May 2:

10:00 AM check in at Mat-Su Central School

10:20 AM depart on the school bus

11:45 AM - 12:45 PM showtime

2:00 PM arrive back at Mat-Su Central School

Families are welcome to ride the school bus or meet us at the Performing Arts Center in Anchorage. Students can attend with a parent or without. MCS staff chaperones will monitor the group.

Cost: Student and adult tickets are $22 per person. Student and one parent ticket price will be deducted from the student(s) allotment. Additional parents or family members, please pay Henry Henson, MCS accountant, for your tickets by credit card one week prior to the event.
