Registration & Enrollment Information

Mat-Su Central is a fully recognized and accredited public school, and is part of the Mat-Su Borough School District.  Students who are new to the valley or enrolling from other programs will need to register with MSBSD.  Those with students already in schools can access and modify their family and student records through iParent.

How to Register

Enrolling now for 2017-2018!

Current MSC Enrollees

  1. Simply complete your registration in iParent starting June 1st.
  2. Call the front office to set up an ILP appointment.

New Enrollees for 2017-2018

  1. Complete the ILP Scheduler Form and email it to msc@matsuk12.us or drop off at the school.
  2. Complete iParent registration starting June 1st.
  3. You will receive a phone call from the front office to schedule your student’s ILP.  If you like, you can also call the front office to confirm we have received your forms.

WITH iParent Accounts

MSBSD Online Registration
Available after June 1st

  1. Go to www.matsuk12.us
  2. Click on Parents, then iParent.
  3. Log in using District # 0033, your username, and password.
  4. Click on student name.
  5. Select REGISTRATION FORM to the left. Then click on the link.
  6. Complete Step #1 (Family Information) Click Submit. 
  7. Complete Step #2 (Student Information) Click Submit.

ENROLL ALL KIDS ATTENDING AN MSBSD SCHOOL DURING STEP #2!!

  1. Complete Step #3 ONLY AFTER all kids have been enrolled during Step #2. Check the box and hit submit.
  2. If you are new to MSCS, please complete an ILP Scheduler Form found on our website or at the school. If you are currently enrolled, we already have your ILP Scheduler Form on file. Please phone the front office to schedule your ILP appointment at 352-7450.

Need iParent Accounts

MSBSD Online Registration – Needing iParent Accounts
Available June 1st

If you are NEW TO DISTRICT and/or don’t have an iParent Account, please follow these steps

  • Go to www.matsuk12.us
  • Click on Parents icon, then on iParent.
  • Select REGISTRATION FORM on the left in yellow margin.
  • When the new window pops up, click on BLANK STUDENT REGISTRATION FORM highlighted in blue.
  • Complete Step #1 (Family Information) Hit Submit. 
  • Complete Step #2 (Student Information) Hit Submit.
  • If you have more than one child to enroll, select “add another student” at the top of Step #2. Hit Submit and repeat process for each child you are enrolling. ENROLL ALL KIDS THAT WILL BE ATTENDING AN MSBSD SCHOOL DURING STEP #2!!
  • Click on Step #3 at the top of the page once all children have been enrolled during Step #2. Check the box and hit submit.
  • If you are new to MSCS, please complete an ILP Scheduler Form found on our website or at the school. If you are currently enrolled, we already have your ILP Scheduler Form on file. Please phone the front office to schedule your ILP appointment at 352-7450.

Enrollment Information

What information do I need to enroll my child?
To enroll your student in the Mat-Su School District for the first time you will need the following items:
• Birth Certificate
• Immunization Records
• Student Physical
• Completed Enrollment Packet

Withdrawal Information

Moving? Changing Schools?

Please contact the Registrar to begin the withdrawal process and return all Mat-Su Central School materials and equipment to the school. Contact Jim Renk or Henry Henson in Accounting/Reimbursements if you have questions about what materials need to be returned and/or if you would like to see about purchasing some of your student’s curriculum or materials.

Record Requests

Record Requests must be received in writing. Phone requests cannot be processed.
There are no “Rush Jobs” available at any time. Normal processing time is 3 to 5 business days.

Transcript Requests

For Transcript requests, please contact by phone, email or in person. Information we will need to process your request:
• Student’s date of birth
• Where it should be sent – need address, fax # or a transcript can be picked up in person at the Mat-Su Central Office

Diploma Requests

If you have lost your diploma, we cannot provide you with another one. If you need to prove to someone that you have graduated, please request a transcript.
