Alaska Museum of Science and Nature

Explore the exhibits! Discover treasures!  This Field trip is tailored for K-3rd grade students and led by knowledgeable museum educators. We will focus on the past and present of the unique biodiversity and natural history of Alaska with special emphasis on geology and crystals.

  • Date: Thursday, October 26
  • Itinerary: Meet us at Mat-Su Central School at 9:15am. We will board the school bus at 9:30am. The museum program will run from 10:30 – 11:30am, followed by a sack lunch at the museum. We will return to Mat-Su Central School between 1:00 – 1:15pm.
  • Cost: $17.00 per student (the cost of the field trip will be automatically deducted from the student’s allotment) Adults attend for free.
  • Parents & students have the option of meeting us there.

The last slots in┬áthis field trip are reserved for Moonlit Science students attending the class “Crystals” with instructor Michelle Walker. If you are enrolled in this class please Click here to sign-up. If you are not enrolled in the class “Crystals” you can click on the link and add your name to the wait-list.
