Alaska Museum of Science and Nature

Explore the exhibits! Discover treasures!  This Field trip is tailored for 3rd – 7th grade students and led by knowledgeable museum educators. We will focus on the past and present of the unique biodiversity and natural history of Alaska with special emphasis on geology and crystals.

  • Itinerary: Thursday, January 16th
  • 9:15am – Meet us at Mat-Su Central School
  • 9:30am- We will board the school bus
  • 10:30 – 11:30am- Museum program
  • 11:30am – 12:00pm – Sack lunch at the museum (students will provide their own sack lunch; MSCS will provide snacks)
  • 12:00- 12:30pm – Self directed exploration of the exhibits
  • 1:30 pm –  Arrive back at Mat-Su Central School

Cost: $23.00 per student (the cost of the field trip will be automatically deducted from the student’s allotment) Adult admittance is $5 (the first 3 adults are free).
Parents & students have the option of meeting us there.
